Shipping Policy
Dispatch and Fulfillment
Poriferous LLC begins fulfillment only after an order is successfully received, reviewed, and approved for processing. Processing time generally takes 1-3 business days, not including weekends, holidays, carrier blackout periods, or delays caused by address verification and payment review.
A shipping confirmation may be issued after the package has been prepared and accepted into the carrier network. Estimated delivery dates are provided for convenience only and should not be interpreted as guaranteed arrival commitments.
Service Area
Shipping is made available to locations that can be serviced by the selected carrier under normal commercial conditions. Some destinations may require additional review due to access limitations, delivery restrictions, rural routing, oversized parcel handling, or other fulfillment constraints.
If an order cannot be shipped using the originally selected method, Poriferous LLC may contact the customer to confirm revised shipping arrangements or, where necessary, cancel the affected order line or transaction.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges, where applicable, are presented during checkout based on available services, package characteristics, and delivery destination. Additional delivery-related fees may apply when a shipment requires exceptional handling, re-routing, or special carrier intervention.
Tracking and Delivery Status
Where supported by the chosen service, tracking details are sent to the customer after shipment confirmation. Tracking visibility depends on carrier systems, and scan updates may take time to appear after label generation or parcel acceptance.
Once a shipment is transferred to the carrier, delivery progress is largely controlled by that carrier’s network and operating procedures. Delays caused by weather, sorting congestion, transportation interruptions, or regional service issues may affect final arrival timing.
Customer Address Obligations
Customers are responsible for submitting a correct, complete, and deliverable shipping address at checkout. Poriferous LLC is not responsible for losses, delays, or failed deliveries resulting from address entry errors, missing unit details, forwarding issues, or recipient unavailability.
Returned shipments caused by unsuccessful delivery attempts or incorrect address details may require payment of additional shipping charges before re-dispatch is arranged. Shipping fees already used for fulfillment may not be recoverable once the order has entered carrier processing.
Shipping Irregularities
If a shipment arrives damaged, incomplete, or does not arrive despite a delivery confirmation issue, the customer should notify Poriferous LLC without undue delay. Review of shipping claims may require photos, package condition evidence, item details, and any information reasonably necessary to communicate with the carrier.
